Super Bowl XLI Commercials

Before I list off my favorite commercials from Super Bowl XLI, I have a few questions to ponder:

1) What is SalesGenie.com? Their commercial aired twice, and I still know nothing.
2) How did Sierra Mist get two consecutive ad spots in the first quarter?
3) Were there more bad commercials than good ones? Luckily, most of those products only had one commercial.

In the week since they first broadcasted, these commercials have been dissected and criticized. Snickers has pulled "The Kiss" from the air, and GM is fighting to defend "Robot Unemployment."

Without further ado, these were my favorite commercials from the Super Bowl:

6) Van Heusen "Day in Reverse"
As the day progresses backwards, the man slowly undresses and ends up (or begins) in bed with a hot chick. That's never happened to me even though I buy those shirts.

5)Bud Light "Wedding Auction"
An auctioneer officiates a wedding that finished in less than 30 seconds so the family and friends can hurry over to the mountain of Bud Light.

4)Bud Light "Slap Fight"
The fist bump is out; the face slap is in. As we watch short clips of people slapping one another, I thought back to the days of "Waaasssssuuup." Then, the boss congratulates a guy with a fist bump but receives a face slap instead. Oops.

3) Dorito's "Live the Flavor"
None of the other amatuer Dorito's commercials were as entertaining. The budget was $12.79, but that certainly could not count the cost of car repairs or computer editing time to add the freeze frames.

2) Bud Light "Rock, Paper, Scissors"
At a neighborhood party, two guys play Rock, Paper, Scissors over the last bottle of Bud, and one guy wins by throwing a rock at the other.

1) Nationwide Mutual Insurance, "K-Fed"
A K-Fed rap appears on TV until a cry interupts, "Federline! Fries!" Ha, ha, Fed-Ex works at a fast food joint, and the only way he'll get on TV is through the security camera. Who sponsored this commercial? [That's the sign of a good advertisement.]
