Bad catch

How often have you been near a baseball that enters the stands (foul ball, homerun, thrown up by a coach or player, etc.)? Personally, I've twice watched balls land about five seats away, but that was too far to attempt a catch. In New York, Rob Marchese had the chance to catch two homerun balls in the same game. Both balls deflected off him, and he came away with nothing but a bruise. Dropping two balls out of two chances explains why he watches from the stands rather than wear a uniform on the field.
